fun

Have you ever stood up on the pedals of your bike and felt almost weightless? Buoyed with a confidence that everything is going your way?

That moment is my personal definition of fun. Below are some of the things that I consider to be fun.

Event Planning

I love a good party! I love creating experiences for the guests that form long lasting memories. If you have met me in person, you may think that I am the party girl that over-indulges and has cast her shoes aside without a care in the world.

On the contrary, I am devoted to making sure that each and every guest is having a good time, from the wall flower to the shoeless girl on the dance floor. When I am at a party, whether I am a guest or a host, I am hyper-vigilant in fostering fun for everyone in attendance.

To throw a great party or event, no matter the size or budget, it takes a great deal of planning. And that is what I love to do. From selecting the location, creating a guest list, designing the invitations, preparing a menu, selecting entertainment and developing a theme, I am having FUN!

I’ve created a lot of really great parties and events. From an intimate dinner party to street fests with thousands of attendees, I have an enormous amount of experience making sure that everyone that comes to one of my events also has FUN!

Here are some parties I have thrown:

  • Ribfest – 3 Day Event – 65,000+ Guests – $300,000 Budget – $600,000 Gross Profit
  • Chicago Artists Month (Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs) Opening Night Reception – 750 Guests

Financial Analysis

Crunching numbers to ascertain Cost of Goods, Return On Investment, Cost Per Order, Cost Per Thousand, Break Even, Market Reach, Freight and Duty Rate, is very exciting to me.

When you get the opportunity to overlay Cost Per Click with Cost of Goods to determine your Profit Margin on a given Digital Marketing Campaign you can determine if your product is going to produce money or if the best you can hope for is a momentous headache. For me it is an exercise in surprise and delight.

No matter what you may personally feel about the market potential of a given product, or if you believe that you have created the most compelling offer, the numbers don’t lie. This is true for print media, digital media, online social marketing, radio and television advertising.

The real thrill is taking the knowledge of the given marketplace and then scaling to success. Everyone loves adding zeros to numbers (when the numbers are in the black). The only way to ensure the numbers are added to the black side is to test, analyze, rinse and repeat. When you unlock the formula and roll out a promotion and the numbers work, it is very FUN indeed!

When you need to calculate ROI, need market research or have data that needs a fresh set of eyes; let me help you look at the numbers so you can make financial decisions that allow your company to succeed.

Public Speaking

I never have to imagine my audience is naked. Give me a stage, a microphone and a topic with a specified agenda or outcome and I will deliver a comfortable, informative and more than likely funny presentation that will stimulate, educate and enliven audiences of types.

I am available to speak at educational seminars, board presentations, theatrical showcases, or as Master of Ceremonies for your next private or public event.
